Effective January 4, 2022, the Lagos State Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) has implemented significant changes to the road worthiness certification process.

New Road Worthiness Procedure:

Under the new guidelines, vehicles must now be physically inspected at any VIO office before a road worthiness certificate can be issued. This change aims to enhance the accuracy and reliability of vehicle inspections to ensure safer roads across Lagos State.
